“Elardzhi” restaurant is located in one of the most picturesque places of old Moscow – that is the lanes of Arbat with its architectual masterpieces and old-style Moscow villas. The workday at “Elardzhi” begins from the large summer terrace adjoined to the restaurant. The terrace is placed in a quiet yard and is isolated from noisy and bustling megapolis. Soft-seated armchairs, hookahs and light-colored tippets create the atmosphere of cosiness and comfort of a country-house.

The name “Elardzhi” has georgian origin and implies “corn mush with cheese”. Specific feature of “Elardzhi” is its home-made georgian cuisine, which is almost unfamiliar to the capital’s gourmets. The menu is based on traditional dishes – khachapuri, satsivi, lobio and elardzhi of course. However, everything tastes much different from that georgian food you got used to in Moscow.

The caucasian coloring at “Elardzhi” is minimalized – exept for kitchen everything from interior to the wine list could rather be referred to Mediterranean style.

“Elardzhi” is a perfect place for eating, as well as for peaceful rest and “dolce farniente” style pastime. Here you can not only try georgian delicacies, but also play chess, backgammon or checkers. A small yard with green lawn is good for picnics and children’s open-air parties. You can also play badminton, just relax lying on a plaid, or listen to the live music.
